Laminated Vellum Planner Covers… & a 5k Giveaway
Recently I talked about my new planner setup for the year – my DIY Mini – and I heard a lot of great feedback! Many of you wanted to know where I found it, or how you could buy one. So much so that I knew I needed to go into more depth on just how I put this beauty together! That way you can do it too. 🙂
The first step was creating the pretty planner covers – with laminated vellum.

Laminated Vellum Planner Covers
Here’s what you’ll need:
This tutorial is pretty easy, and doesn’t take many steps. Once you figure out the size of your planner inserts (Mini Happy Planner is 4.63 x 7 in) the rest is super simple. I put together a 2 minute tutorial video that you can watch below, but essentially all you have to do is:
I used a vellum print from my shop, cut it down to size, laminated it in 5 mil laminate… cut it again, laminated it again, and cut it again. The last step is to punch the holes and you’re done! Add your new cover to your planner!
*I’ll be writing about different disc punch reviews very soon, but I find that the TUL disc punch works best for laminated things.*
@MamaJenePlans has officially reached 5k on Instagram! To celebrate and show my appreciation, I’m giving away a full DIY Mini HP to one lucky follower.
